All Flags Are Grey - Blood Box Review

All Flags Are Grey remind me of people in my acting class, specifically, does that would yell if you forgot your lines in rehearsal. You may be tempted to call the group a bit too self-involved if you experience their visuals without the music.

However, on closer inspection, the Blood Box is revealed to be a masterclass in the use of tension and dynamics. Vocals are constantly pushing the listener back and forth, almost tauntingly. The distorted guitars sound as if they’ve been hiding around the corner for hours ready to spring. This is no mere gimmick, it’s a very strong rock single.
