BLACKSHAPE’s III is a guitar-riff souffle prepared with the knowledge of a master-chef. As for the riffs, they don’t so much soar, as they pound relentlessly like miners digging through tunnels.
There’s a bit of a tendency to try and utilize as many chord changes, and time signatures as the recording would allow, but BLACKSHAPE are confident in their skill, which is half the battle already won.
