Indie-rock acts shouldn’t be allowed to have their drums sound as good as they do on Chazzy Lake’s new single.
That should be reserved for classic rock stars like Queen. But, they do. In fact, this is an exercise in restraint, with the drum sound and acoustic guitar alone drawing you in within the first seconds.
Next, it’s up to the singer to prove he can earn his stripes by singing straight, or in falsetto. He rarely puts a foot wrong the whole time.
