College Elite – Disaster (Review)

College Elite - Disaster (Review)

The intro to the single Disaster sounds like an overly excited group of young lads, finally getting to play their instruments after an exhausting week of work.

There’s a clear love of noise and fuzz-drenched guitar here. But, it’s kept in touch by a certain geekiness, that seems to force College Elite into abiding by the classic rules of songwriting.

The shout-along chorus returns the group to the excitement with which proceedings had been kicked off in the first place. Joshua William’s project, indeed, picks out some of the best elements of early 90s college rock radio.
