DonCat – Automatic Teller feat. Bobby Renz (Review)

DonCat - Automatic Teller feat. Bobby Renz

Holding on to an infectious funk lick for dear life, DonCat is hard to ignore. While labeled by industry pros as psychedelic rock, Duncan Neilson seems to have plucked his sound right out off one of the darkest disco night clubs of the late 1970s.

Playing this might not get you a spot on the alt-rock board of directors, of which Lou Reed remains the de-facto president even after his passing, but it will most likely please all your friends. If it doesn’t, they are either liars, or worth ditching.
