Genre: Indie Rock, Garage Rock, Alternative Rock
There’s something extremely powerful and important about music. Still, just as important is that regular pop-rock music is made all throughout the world. In fact, it’s the interpretation given throughout the world that gives it its importance.
This, I reckon, is the reason why it has survived and, at times, thrived. Rock music is no longer the type of music created in one part of the United States of America. I’m sorry, it belongs to the world now.
It is a language shared by the world. It’s a way to communicate across borders to embrace our differences and all of the things we have in common. It’s protest music against division.
strange world’s end’s コントロール is a blistering alt-rock number with arena-pop ambition. It requires no understanding of Japanese. A general knowledge of rock music will come in handy, though. It’ll help you feel what the band is going for immediately. Is this not a tremendous way to understand a stranger? Peace!

Pop stars are supposed to be relatable. Rock stars need to be otherworldly. This, mind you, doesn’t mean that they need to have it all together. No, no. Most often, the more messed up they seem to be, the better that they’ll qualify for the rock star role.
Still, where pop stars need to convince the audience that they are one of them, the rock stars need to convince them that they have very little in common. Having a story about being scarred by religion at a young age, having been raised by wolves, or getting beamed down from the heavens never hurts.
Fixtures’ Ghost Relays sounds like music made by paranoid individuals who carry their guitars with them wherever they go. These might not make the best dinner guests. These may well be the people financially lending support to strange conspiracy websites. But they’re also the folks who have the ability to see and hear past the ordinary.
