Global Plague – Parasitic (Review)

Global Plague - Parasitic (Review)

It takes a great self-awareness for a guitar band to know when and where to edit their work.

If you’ve ever been in a rehearsal space with a virtuoso player, you’ll know that getting him/her to soloing is harder than Chinese algebra.

But, Global Plague, a metal band that’s already getting ready for their first official release, is a group that knows its strengths and plays into them.

A catchy riff, a savage breakdown, and blood-curdling screams are all covered in only the first 30 seconds of the tune. It’s off to the races from there, with the group creating a proggy, brutal, modern-sounding heavy metal single.
