Houses – Paranoid (Review)

Houses - Paranoid

If you remember the final part of Goodfellas, you’ll know that Martin Scorsese chose power-trio Cream to soundtrack the cocaine-induced paranoia of mobsters being surveilled by police.

Of course, the cinematic master opted for this trick as a counterpoint to the action, and with the excuse that this may well have been the music that would have been playing on the radio when the actions were taking place.

However, if were to redo the movie for the modern era, a trick we can’t guarantee that Hollywood will not try soon, Houses’ Paranoid could slide right in and perhaps feel more natural.
