Jules Leyhe – Den Of The Beast

Jules Leyhe - Den Of The Beast

Jules Leyhe’s work sounds like an old guitar-slinger falling in love with modern production and recording techniques. It reminded me of Jeff Beck’s more recent experiments with EDM.

Sure, it’s wacky. Sounds fall on top of each other, replacing one scene with another at a quick pace, like the Avalanches taking on a rock n’ roll direction.

There’s a novelty element to this, but that’s because it sounds fresh, and a bit funny too.
