Are you prone to walking awkwardly and stumbling? No problem! If you listen to productivity gurus this is only natural. In fact, they reckon, the key is to make the fall part of the dance. In other words, make mistakes look planned.
This is something that most artists, new and experienced, often face. Some choose to crop up their mistakes. These are the ones that prefer that the public never know of their misgivings, of their trials and tribulations.
Others are happy to expose their inner struggles, their stumbling, and falling. You might not expect this from a group tittle PoT/MaN. Even the folks from Incubus might chuckle at hearing this moniker. But, trust Coma Divine takes the listener deep down the alleyways of interesting, disturbing imaginations. It’s music inspired by the best in punk, and nu-metal, but also a bit of a jam band if you ask us.
Loose Ends – Yearn
Post-Punk, Shoegaze
Post-punk music is anxiety-ridden rock for people that have a library card. It’s punk-rock for people who think that the people in the government are just as doomed as the rest of us. And, contrary to expectations, it doesn’t all come out of gloomy Britain.
Indeed, sometimes it pops out of unexpected places. Take Denmark for example. Small country. Very clean. Things seem to work. People like their Queen. Folks tend to get a get education, a nice salary, and hardly anyone wants to move away from here.
Anxiety does not spare the Danes either. Loose Ends’ Yearn sounds like an awkward conversation had a in a bar after one too many drinks. It’s hard to know if this is a lament or a terrorist manifesto. Either way, it makes for a good listen, and it will get the Brits scrambling towards the streets for inspiration.
