Mild Animals have hit upon a few very enjoyable indie rock sounds. To my ears, they sound as if Against Me! decided to go undercover and record an album of indie-pop.
It’s effervescent, like a modern-day My Sharona, and, frankly, we could all do with a refresh on our workout playlist.
