Modest Midget - Rocky Valleys of Dawn

Modest Midget, of a band of relatively large significance to the local rock scene out in the Netherlands, are of the belief that more is more.

Here’s a prog-band whose record collection is centred around the genre’s infancy years. There’s a warp-speed bass-line that echoes John Entwistle, chord changes that recall the British Invasion, and melodies that would be welcomed in a single from the same period.

Modest Midget are prog-rockers indebted to the allure of the late 1960s.
