Mr. Mother are pop-poets preaching down a crowded street. The lyrics here and clever and fuel the single Killing Machine. But, nods to the group for finding ways to interject the rock elements into a tune that could comfortably be played by any mainstream radio station around its busiest hours.
And, while the bass guitar riff, reminiscent of Feel Good Inc, and drums look set to keep things simple, the guitar solo has other ideas, exploding like something straight out the Mars Volta’s early albums. Worthy of attention, and of keeping an eye out!
