Orochen – Burial Mounds review

Orochen - Burial Mounds

Orochen’s press for Burial Mounds, the Swedish band’s recent single, promised music that would “ put your neck in a never stopping motion.” I genuinely feared for my medical safety, but so far have my neck is functioning in working condition.

Instead of a banger, this is a dark-alternative number that quotes groups like Cult of Luna. Were it not for Orochen suggesting they are “more than band” but rather a collective looking to redefine music, I might enjoy it more. In reality, it’s a nice goth-ish single.
