I’ll be truthful. I would never get sick of hearing covers of Warm leatherette, the classic song by the Normal. Tense and echoing a cold, dangerous future, it’s a song that soundtracks our era perfectly.
Queen o fthe Static OPera does a good job of covering this, maintaining the detachment of the original, and not trading it for the kind of over-acting that dominates a lot of industrial rock music nowadays.
