Steven King - Satellite (Review)

All song crimes are forgiven by the careful implantation of a great melody.

Steven King’s Satellite possesses such a melody. Not even the vocals that do occasionally stray off-key dissuade from the charm of his melody. It all begins with a gentle guitar intro that appears lifted straight from one of Mazzy Star’s best-known songs. The song then continues to rock back and forth, beautifully.

It’s like having watched a magician perform a really nifty trick. It may not change your view of the world, but it’s bound to leave an impression.
