Inconsideration – Kicker
Genre: Lo-fi Rock, Alternative Rock
Inconsideration’s ‘Kicker” is an interestingly lethargic take on 90s grunge and alternative rock, a mix that doesn’t fail to please the audience.
And make no mistake about it, the greatest rock stars are people pleasers. They give the folks back at home what they say they want or the things that they won’t even admit to themselves that they want. Rock stars can read audiences like a book.
There’s a good reason why the majority of high-profile movie actors used to get at least one shot at making a single. It wasn’t just their trained voices, although that helped. It was their ability to give the public a thrill. Modern influencers join the film stars in that regard.
Inconsideration’s “Kicker” sounds effortless with its Kurt Cobain vocal groove and Pixies-like dynamics. It’s music made directly for the artist’s sizeable social media coverage. Most importantly, it’s the work of someone who can easily and efficiently read the room. The moodiness of this alt-rock can work well, especially when you know that you have plenty of potential listeners waiting to hear musical updates from you.

It’s hard to buy a thrill these days, but you’re more than likely to feel happy to have spent your time on Sunshine Frisbee Laserbeam today.
Rock music gears itself toward comfort just as much as we all do. Who can blame us, and who would dare blame this decades-old art form? After all, with so much trouble in the world and so many things that have the potential to ruin our life, or, at the very least, our day, you would excuse us for being protective of ourselves and for desiring to take it easy.
There are numerous things in our modern life designed to keep us isolated. All of these things are built with the sole intention of creating a feeling of ease. Yet, when all of these distractions are available at a fingertip’s touch, nothing is too thrilling any longer. Even the best song hooks, the nasty guitar licks, or the clever lyrics can lose their power.
Luckily, Sunshine Frisbee Laserbeam’s infectious “Thieving” is a song born out of pain but reaching out toward some sort of heavens. You’d have to have a mighty nice payoff to get people to get excited these days. But if you don’t find yourself excited by the kind of power-pop hooks that Sunshine Frisbee Laserbeam are able to create, I’d start to worry. This is guitar pop that treats its mission seriously, providing cheap therapy for anyone who will listen.
