That’s what Tugboat Captain does here, on Day to day, as he details the tiny scraps of misery that form the routine activities of a particularly bad period. Clever lyrics lead the confession, while Beatles (slightly off-key vocals) slide over a musical arrangement that could easily have ended up as a folk-punk tune.
