Vian Izak – Forward

Vian Izak - Forward

Vian Izak is an already established name with numerous fans across the world. Here’s the nitty-gritty of “Forward“, his newest single as far as I’m concerned.

Yes, it’s beautifully done. Every sound that accompanies the emotive vocals, from the minimal drums to the inspiring horns, to the melancholy-tinged piano are tasteful choices that only a pro like Izak could have made.

With that being said, the song does deal in the kind of emotional platitudes that makes this an enjoyable listen, but not a memorable one, which is the curse of much of the pop music that Izak draws inspiration from (Coldplay, Mumford & Sons).
