I listened to this track many times before deciding to review it. On pare this is a terrific band. They are inspired by great 90s alt rock bands, which shows good taste. And, frankly, they reminded me of Noir Desir, who, obviously, usually sang in French, or in a broken English.
Wolves of Argyle are American and have got the alt-rock sound figured out. Dramatic intros, more drama in the verses, explosive choruses… My only issue is with the lyrics. I say, find a local poet to write up a few lines, and you are on to a home run.
