Created in 2016, Alt77 never strays from its mission of promoting and supporting alternative music.

While “alternative music” is an umbrella term for many genres, we tend to prefer styles like alt-rock, punk-rock, indie, indie-folk, grunge, goth, etc.

However, if we feel the music is good we will listen to it regardless of genre-inclusion and try to give it the love it needs.

Alt77’s staff has always comprised of musicians and artists. This is why we know how difficult and important it is to get your voice heard. We do our best to promote new music!

We also do our best to tell the story of Bowie, Cobain, or Reed and know that the art we endorse needs to try and match our heroes’ achievements.
